I joined Twitter last year as I hoped it would be a useful portal to talk about Mental Health. The number that I have seen has been brilliant though I think why can’t that number grow still further?
Peer support is something I believe has to grow, both in number & in its importance to both former & current sufferers. With Mental Health (MH) services facing an uncertain time, the more we as individuals can get from MH forums, Twitter chats and the like should not be ignored. The powers that be also need to realise the sheer potential of Peer support & the impact it can have to help sufferers feel less alone. It could also give sufferers a different purpose in life.
Best wishes to every one of you in your own MH battle.
